Maid of Honor Speech for Sister

Good evening, everyone. I am the bride's sister, which means I have loved her longer than almost anyone here and have also borrowed more of her things than she probably realizes.

Growing up with her meant having a built-in best friend, role model, and occasional co-conspirator. She has always been thoughtful, strong, and generous with the people she loves.

When she met her partner, I saw a new kind of happiness in her. Not a different person, but more fully herself: relaxed, supported, and loved in the way she deserves.
