Good evening, everyone. For those I have not met yet, I am the best man, which mostly means I was trusted with a microphone after knowing the groom for far too many years.

I have seen him through questionable haircuts, ambitious plans, and at least one phase where he thought he could fix anything with a tutorial video and misplaced confidence. But I have also seen the loyal, generous, deeply decent person he is.

When he met his partner, something changed. He was still himself, but calmer, happier, and somehow even more convinced that he was right about everything. Together, they make each other better in a way that is obvious to everyone in this room.
